ஈழப் போராளிகள் 2007 ஆம் ஆண்டு நடத்திய எல்லாளன் நடவடிக்கையில் அனுராதபுரம் வான்தளம் தகர்க்கப்பட்டது. ராணுவத்தின் 27 வான்கலன்கள் முற்றிலுமாக அழிக்கப்பட்டன.
உலகப் போராளிகள் சரித்திரத்தில் இதுவொரு தீரமிக்க நடவடிக்கையாக அமைந்தது. 21 கரும்புலிகள் தங்களது உயிரை ஈந்து எல்லாளன் நடவடிக்கையை வெற்றிபெற வைத்தனர்.
தமிழீழத்துக்கான ஈழப் போராளிகளின் போராட்ட வரலாற்றில் தீரத்தின், தியாகத்தின் அணையாப் பிரகாசம், எல்லாளன் நடவடிக்கை. உண்மை சம்பவத்தை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட எல்லாளன் திரைப்படம்.
உலக சினிமா வரலாற்றில் எந்தப் போராளிக்குழுவும் தனது சமகால போர் நடவடிக்கையை திரைப்படமா உருவாக்கியதில்லை. 100 சதவீதம் போராளிகளால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட திரைப்படம்ங்ற பெருமையும் எல்லாளனுக்கு மட்டுமே உண்டு.
படப்பிடிப்பு முடியும்போது படத்தில் பணிபுரிந்த 40 சதவீதம் பேர் உயிருடன் இல்லைங்கிறதும், படம் வெளியாகும் போது 95 சதவீதம் பேர் உயிருடன் இல்லை – ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் சந்தோஷ்

First of all I would like to thank a million to the freedom fighters who lost their lives in the unjust freedon strugle. As long as the corrupted, murderous, racist rajapaksa brothers and company rule in the island of sri lanka there will be no just solution to any ethnic minority in the island.
